Registration

Registration for the conference is available now using our online registration Web site.

Sessions begin the afternoon of Thursday, October 19 and go to early afternoon on Sunday, October 22. The session schedule will be available in early September.

You can choose to register as an in-person attendee or a virtual attendee. We are using the same platform (Hopin) to provide a virtual Southwest Fox as we do for Virtual Fox Fest.

Note: there is a limit of 50 in-person attendees; there's no limit on virtual attendees. To avoid disappointment, be sure to register early if you want to attend in-person.

In-person:

Super-saver price (before August 1): $599
Early-bird price (before September 1): $649
Regular price (September 1 and later): $699

What's Included (all attendees)

• Entrance to all conference sessions on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
• Access to any white papers, examples, and slides provided by the speakers. These will be available on our FTP site before the conference starts so you can read in advance.
• Access to videos of the sessions after the conference.
• Conference booklet (PDF format).
• Transcripts of all session online chats.
• Lots of networking opportunities with other conference attendees.

What's Included (in-person only)

• Lunch Friday and Saturday (breakfast is included with the room at the Hampton Inn).
• Access to the exhibitors area where exhibitors will be selling tools, products, and services.
• Conference t-shirt (if you register before we order them on September 19)

What's Included (virtual only)

• Access to online chat during presentations.

Cancellation Policy

A 15% cancellation fee will be charged on all credit card registrations. A refund of the full registration fee, other than the cancellation fee, will be made if cancelled in writing prior to September 1. No refunds for cancellations received September 1 or later, but registration may be transferred to another person or applied to the next Geek Gatherings conference, if one is held by Geek Gatherings.

Other Costs to Budget

• Parking at your home airport if you do not take a taxi or get a ride from someone else.
• Travel to and from Phoenix (airfare or car expenses).
• Travel from the Phoenix airport to the conference hotel and return to the airport.
• Hotel room.
• Other meals not noted.
• Bar bill: people who attend the conference like to extend their day talking about software development and catching up with friends.
