SUMMARY;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Using SQL Where You Never Thought - Steffen F. Pirsig
DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:With Xbase++ 2.0 SQL became an important topic. The new key feature is seamlessly and fully integrated into the Xbase++ language. But it wouldn't be Xbase++ if the integration only meant supporting the Structured Query Language (SQL) for SQL servers. In the context of Xbase++ 2.0, SQL is much more! In addition to tables/work areas, SQL can now be used on arrays and objects, or even on a combination of the two! Of course, this works in both directions: on the input and output side of your SELECT/INSERT/UPDATE statements.=0D=0A=0D=0AThe goal of this session is to establish SQL as an everyday solution for Xbase++ developers, similar to what FOR/NEXT or DO/WHILE already is.
